Die Informationsflut des Internets führt dazu, dass Informationen sehr genau geprüft werden sollten. Das gilt insbesondere für Ratgeber. Sie führt leider auch dazu, dass trotz Suchmaschinen eine Auswahl immer schwieriger wird. Es wird immer mehr nur noch nach dem Besten gesucht. Ob es dann auch gefunden wird, ist manchmal und zunehmend auch Glückssache.

Deshalb haben wir uns entschlossen, die USA Hiking Database ins Leben zu rufen. Verlässlichkeit, da alle Daten in der Praxis von uns selbst erhoben wurden und möglichst viele Möglichkeiten der Darstellung, auch Bestenlisten, die zwar subjektiv erstellt sind, aber das gilt ja eigentlich für alle Rankings.

Unsere Auswahl ist immer auf die USA Wanderungen begrenzt, die wir in dem jeweiligen Jahr durchgeführt haben.
